💹Economic Model
The economic model of Tōku is simple, powerful & aims to generate ongoing profits for our token holders. The economic mechanisms we have designed will generate a strong incentive to accumulate and hold the token, as well as driving the community to share the application itself, which will increase user numbers.
The base fee to send a message embedded in a Solana transaction is 0.000005 SOL per transaction (0.00079285c).
The Tōku application will add a small fee on top of each message to sustain the project development and provide profit for our users, bringing the total fee to 0.00001 SOL per transaction (0.0015857c).
At face value, these numbers may seem quite small but the Tōku project has a big vision & aims to onboard thousands of users to its application. When scaled up, the profit generated from the application begins to swell & so too, the rewards for our token holders.
Based on a conservative estimate of 50 messages per user, per day, the table below explores the potential revenue as the application grows its user base.

Token holders can expect to receive a proportional split of 20% of these profits. Below we explore the expected weekly earnings for token holders based on the above numbers and a varied amount of token holders. These numbers are based on a simple proportional split between all token holders, so please keep in mind that earnings may be more or less depending on the amount held.
